Jody Hammond is a familiar name to southern Californians. As a news reporter on radio and television for more than twenty years, Jody's reports have earned dozens of regional and national awards, including Emmys and Golden Mikes. Fluent in Spanish, Jody often covers US-Mexico border issues. She has developed reliable contact on both sides of the border. While Jody's primary background is in journalism, she has a wide range of corporate and community clients for whom she has produced educational and promotional videos. She brings professionalism and calm to even the most challenging assignments. Media Training After years of interviewing everyone from presidents to celebrities to convicted murderers, Jody knows what works and what doesn't when trying to convey a message. She also knows what news assignment editors are looking for when in a story. Along with partner Nancy Stern, Jody founded On The Spot Media Training and offers customized training for individuals and companies who want to put their best foot forward on TV. Education Jody has a Masters in International Relations from Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, and attended UCLA where she graduated cum laude in history, with a minor in Spanish. She has taught English at Centro Latinoamericano de Idiomas in Gudalajara, Mexico.
